How to stay happy

A man and his girlfriend were married. It was a large celebration.
All of their friends and family came to see the lovely ceremony and to
partake of the festivities and celebrations. A wonderful time was had by all.
The bride was gorgeous in her white wedding gown and the groom was
very dashing in his black tuxedo.

Everyone could tell that the love they had for each other was true.
A few months later, the wife comes to the husband with a proposal:
"I read in a magazine, a while ago, about how we can strengthen our marriage."
she offered.
"Each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying
with the other person. Then, we can talk about how we can fix them
together and make our lives happier together."
The husband agreed. So each of them went to a separate room in the house
and thought of the things that annoyed them about the other. They thought
about this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with.
The next morning, at the breakfast table, they decided that they would go over their
lists..
"I'll start," offered the wife. She took out her list. It had many items on it.
Enough to fill 3 pages, in fact. As she started reading the list of the little annoyances,
she noticed that tears were starting to appear in her husband’s eyes.
"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Nothing" the husband replied, "keeps reading your list.."
The wife continued to read until she had read all three pages to her
husband. She neatly placed her list on the table and folded her hands
over top of it.
"Now, you read your list and then we'll talk about the things on both
of our lists." She said happily.
Quietly the husband stated, "I don't have anything on my list. I
think that you are perfect the way that you are. I don't want you to change
anything for me. You are lovely and wonderful and I wouldn't want to try
and change anything about you."
The wife, touched by his honesty and the depth of his love for her
and his acceptance of her, turned her head and wept.
IN LIFE, there are enough times when we are disappointed, depressed
and annoyed. We don't really have to go looking for them. We have a
wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise. Why waste time
in this world looking for the bad, disappointing or annoying when we can
look around us, and see the wondrous things before us..?
I believe that WE ARE HAPPIEST WHEN we see and praise the good and
try our best to forget the bad. Nobody's perfect but we can find perfectness
in them to change the way we see them.
- We are not trying to condone what is bad. Correction does much, but
encouragement does more. "The blue of heaven is larger than the clouds . . ."

can never forget this inspirational story.... really true i stand testimony for this

this is wht true love is all bout

One of the most touching and purest love story I've read in a while..
From the very beginning, girl's family objected strongly on her dating this
guy, saying that it has got to do with family background, & that the girl
will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.
Due to family's pressure, the couple quarrelled very often. Though the girl
loved the guy deeply, she always asked him: "How deep is your love for me..?"
As the guy is not good with his words, this often caused the girl to be very
upset. With that & the family's pressure, the gal often vents her anger on
him. As for him.. he only endured it in silence.
After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his
studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the gal: "I'm not very good
with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take
care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to
talk them round. Will you marry me..?"
The girl agreed, & with the guy's determination, the family finally gave in
& agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they got engaged.
The gal went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas,
continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls.
Though it was hard, but both never thought of giving up.
One day, while the gal was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car
that lost control. when she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She
realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum cry, she wanted to
comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth
was just a sigh. she had lost her voice..
The doctor says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her
voice. Listening to her parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from
her, she broke down. During the stay in hospital, besides silent cry.. it's
still just silent cry that accompanied her. Upon reaching home, everything
seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone which pierced
into her heart everytime it rang. She does not wish to let the guy know &
not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she
does not wish to wait any longer.
With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions &
millions of reply and countless phonecalls.. all the gal could do besides
crying is still crying.... The parents decided to move away, hoping that she
could eventually forget everything & be happy. With a new environment,
the gal learnt sign language & started a new life.
Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend
came & told her that he's back. She asked her friend not to let him know
what happened to her. Since then, there wasn't anymore news of him.
A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing an
invitation card for the guy's wedding. The gal was shattered. When she
opened the letter, she saw her name on it instead. When she was about to ask
her friend what was going on, she saw the guy standing in front
of her..
He used sign language to tell her, "I've spent a year to learn sign
language. Just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me
have the chance to be your voice. I Love You.." With that, he slipped the
ring back into her finger. The gal finally smiled . . .

Treat every relationship as if it's the last one, then you'll know how to
Give..
Treat every moment as if it's the last day, then you'll know how to
Treasure..
Treasure what you have right now, or else you may regret one day . . .
This one was written long back when i was in love ... Exactly this is what happened

Many times in my life I have disappointed you,
and begun to stray.
But you have pointed me in the right direction,
and sent me on my way.
Many times in my life I've needed a helping hand,
and someone to pull me up.
It was you who gave that helping hand,
and always cheered me up.
Many times I've been sad and down,
and taken it out on you.
But you stood by me and comforted me,
In times that I was bad.
Many times I've needed support,
and to know someone was there.
It was you who held me up,
and showed me how to care.
Many times I've wanted to tell you this,
But never got a chance.
You have helped me out in life,
and got me where I am.
You were there for me through thick and thin,
You never gave up on me and you taught me how to care.
From the deepest of my heart I want to say I love you,
And to thank you for being there for me in times of good or bad . . .

A Successful Relationship

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a
loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was
around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open.
He was late for work so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in
the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the
matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle and
fascinated by its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous
medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the
mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned.
She was terrified how to face her husband. When the distraught father
came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and
uttered just four words..
QUESTIONS:
1. What were the four words?
2. What is the implication of this story?
Scroll down to read..

ANSWER:
The husband just said "I Love You Darling" The husband's totally unexpected
reaction is proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought
back to life. There is no point in finding
fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the
bottle away, this would not happen.
No one to be blamed. She had lost her only child. What she needed at that
moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave
her. If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there
would be much fewer problems in the world. Take off all your envies,
jealousies, unforgiving attitude, selfishness, and fears. And you will find
things are actually not as difficult as you think.

same person . . . "

The Most Important Body Part

The Most Important Body Part

First think about it then read

My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body..?
Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer.
When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so
I said, "My ears, Mommy." She said "No-Many people are deaf.. But you
keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first
attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her,
"Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes."
She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is
not correct because there are many people who are blind.."
Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years,
Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No. But
you are getting smarter every year, my young child."
Then last year, my grandpa died. Everybody was hurt.
Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that
especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry.
My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final goodbye to Grandpa.
She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my son..?"
I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a
game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me,
"This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in
your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you
was wrong and I have given you an example why. But today is the day you
need to learn this important lesson.." She looked down at me as only a
mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "Son, the most
important body part is your shoulder . . ."
I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head..?" She replied, "No, it is because it can hold
the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry
on sometime in life, my son. I only hope that you have enough Love and Friends that you
will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.."
Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish
one-it is sympathetic to the pain of OTHERS..
You are my friend and whenever you want, you may cry on my shoulder . . .
