This is delicate to one of my special friend
You remind me of a flower,
Pretty, inside and outside.
A reason why people smile everyday,
A gift to all.
God must have known there would be times
He must have known we'd need to share
The joy of "little things"
In order to appreciate
The happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts
Would sometimes throb with pain,
At trials and misfortunes,
Or goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort
Of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage
To make a fresh, new start.
He knew we'd need companionship,
Unselfish... lasting... true,
And so God answered the heart's great need
With cherished friends... like you!

Now and then..........what u can all see
Now and then a thought comes to my mind
What if I could the clock unwind!!
Return to being a child once more
Ah! that wondrous age of four!
Then...
Life meant playing and reciting nursery rhymes
Dabbling with crayons and making colorful drawings.
Now...
To play one needs to be organized too
Join a play school at the tender age of two!
Then...
Mummy was my first teacher
Lovingly teaching me values which help in life later.
Now...
Mom's busy - working, socializing, and attending kitty parties
Child seems to be low on her priority!
Then...
If mummy had to go, grandma was there
Showering me with her love and care.
Now...
Left with housekeepers and maids
In front of the television/computer passes the day.
Then...
I had never heard words like failure and rejection
Nor faced gruesome interviews for admission!
Now...
A three year old goes for tuition
To enter a prestigious school - the ultimate mission!
Then...
Holidays meant family get together, fun and enjoyment
At a relaxed pace honing our talents.
Now...
It's summer camps... professional guidance
Ever decreasing parental influence!
Then...
I had no computer games, no mobiles
No rat race to cover that extra mile!
Now...
Under peer pressure, childhood is wilting away
Competing with the Jones... whatever way!
Then...
The choices I was offered
did commensurate with my age.
Then...
The choices I was offered
did commensurate with my age.
Now and then I ponder
why kids are being propelled towards adulthood
Even before they have had a proper childhood?
What if I could the clock unwind!!

The beauty
The beauty of a person,
no matter who they are
Can only be measured,
by the goodness of heart
For some the exterior may be rough and weathered
But their true beauty only shines all the better
I have met folks that have the beauty and the bodies
But hearts cold as steel, caring for nobody
Then there are the ones,
no matter their looks
that would give a smile, word, a part of themselves
To help one less fortunate than they
And expect nothing in return, except to say
Thank you for being there, and helping point the way
Its that inner beauty that shines forth from you
It shows in everything you say and do
For I have never heard you ever condemn
Even the smallest and weakest of men
For all that you see you carry a smile
To those that receive it, it lasts for miles
And so it is that true beauty must begin
Not from without, but from only within
The giving of oneself so selflessly
That the whole world can see the beauty in thee
no matter who they are
Can only be measured,
by the goodness of heart
For some the exterior may be rough and weathered
But their true beauty only shines all the better
I have met folks that have the beauty and the bodies

What is Love All About?

What is love all about?
A bond of trust but a little doubt?
An enraged eye still a healing touch?
A broad smile yet a pain so much?
Is it a sunshine peeping out of cloud?
Or a drop of silence in a cry so loud!
Is it a shower of rain in scorching heat?
Or a stream of running heart beat?
A halo of light in the unending dark?
A wound in the heart, an everlasting mark?
Does it mean a yearning embrace,
Or a number of reasons hard to trace?
Is it about unconditional giving?
Or getting in the relation and leaving?
An overflowing wave yet so calm,
A cruel word followed by a curing balm!
An image of patience still desperate,
A bit of bad habit in etiquette?
A common bonding yet so rare?
A magical feeling beyond compare?
I am confused, I don't know.
I wish if anyone could show!
If you really know what love is

You Are Wonderful . . .
The following story captured my heart. It happened years ago in a concert
A famous singer had been contracted to sing, and ticket sales were
booming. In fact, the night of the concert found the house packed and every
ticket sold.
The feeling of anticipation and excitement was in the air as the house manager
took the stage and said, Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your enthusiastic
support. I am afraid that due to illness, the man whom you've all come to hear will
not be performing tonight. However, we have found a suitable substitute we hope
will provide you with comparable entertainment. The crowd groaned in disappointment
and failed to hear the announcer mention the stand-in's name. The environment turned
from excitement to frustration.
The stand-in performer gave the performance everything he had. When he had finished,
there was nothing but an uncomfortable silence. No one applauded. Suddenly, from the
balcony, a little boy stood up and shouted, Daddy, I think you are wonderful! The crowd
broke into thunderous applause.
We all need people in our Lives who are willing to stand up once in a while and say, I think
you are wonderful.
And at times others are expecting this from you. Are you telling them how wonderful you
are . . .
Bright Future is Forgotten Past
In the search of brightest future,
probably i was misled and lost;
only then i could realise that,
it always based on forgotten past.
probably i was misled and lost;
only then i could realise that,
it always based on forgotten past.
The past which had many grey shades,
which dominated all your good times;
that always left you low on confidence,
and made you forget the sweet chimes.
which dominated all your good times;
that always left you low on confidence,
and made you forget the sweet chimes.
The past which forced you to cry,
forced to smile with tears in eyes;
never let you sit with peace of mind,
made you to do wrong things, tell lies.
forced to smile with tears in eyes;
never let you sit with peace of mind,
made you to do wrong things, tell lies.
The past which kept you away,
from your family and loved ones;
all it had given you is lonliness,
made you happy not even once.
from your family and loved ones;
all it had given you is lonliness,
made you happy not even once.
until you let go off past failures;
then you will find your bright future,
believe me there are no other cures . . .
Wow.....Magic word

Last spring I was walking in a park. A short distance ahead of me was a mom
and her three-year-old daughter. The little girl was holding on to a string
that was attached to a helium balloon.
All of a sudden, a sharp gust of wind took the balloon from the little girl.
I braced myself for some screaming and crying.
I braced myself for some screaming and crying.
But, no! As the little girl turned to watch her balloon go skyward, she
gleefully shouted out, "Wow!"
gleefully shouted out, "Wow!"
I didn't realize it at that moment, but that little girl taught me
something.
something.
Later that day, I received a phone call from a person with news of an
unexpected problem. I felt like responding with "Oh no, what should we do?"
But remembering that little girl, I found myself saying, "Wow, that's
interesting! How can I help you?"
unexpected problem. I felt like responding with "Oh no, what should we do?"
But remembering that little girl, I found myself saying, "Wow, that's

One thing's for sure - life's always going to keep us off balance with its
unexpected problems. That's a given. What's not preordained is our response.
We can choose to be frustrated or fascinated.

We can choose to be frustrated or fascinated.
No matter what the situation, a fascinated "Wow!" will always beat a
frustrated "Oh, no."
frustrated "Oh, no."
So the next time you experience one of life's unexpected gusts, remember
that little girl and make it a "Wow!" experience. The "Wow!" response always
works . . .
